# Provide V3 liquidity

> Choose a price range for your liquidity position.

V3 lets you choose the price range where your funds are available for trading. You earn fees while the market price is inside that range.

## Create a position

1. Choose a token pair and fee option.
2. Choose a price range.
3. Enter the amount you want to provide.
4. Review the position, then approve and confirm.

Your position is represented by an NFT. Keep it in your wallet: it is how you manage your liquidity and collect fees.

## Choose your range

| Range    | Why choose it                                                    |
| -------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Wider    | More likely to stay active, with less hands-on management.       |
| Narrower | More focused liquidity, but it can go out of range more quickly. |

## Manage your position

You can add liquidity, remove liquidity, and collect fees from your position. When you remove liquidity, collect your tokens and fees to finish the process.

  If the market price moves outside your range, your position stops earning fees until it returns to that range.
